Welcome to SOSAppointment.ca. By using our platform, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Service provided
SOSAppointment is a platform connecting patients with healthcare clinics for semi-urgent appointments. We do not provide medical services.
2. Emergency disclaimer
SOSAppointment is not an emergency service. For life-threatening emergencies, dial 911 immediately or go to the nearest ER.
3. User account
- You must be at least 14 years old (or have a parent/guardian).
- Information provided must be accurate and up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
- One account per person. Account resale is prohibited.
4. Booking and cancellation
- Appointments are confirmed subject to actual clinic availability.
- You may cancel or modify up to 24 hours before the appointment time, free of charge.
- Late cancellations or no-shows may incur fees from the clinic.
- SOSAppointment charges no cancellation fees, but clinic policies apply.
5. Paid subscriptions
- Standard ($15/month) and Premium ($25/month) plans are billed monthly via Stripe.
- You may cancel any time from your dashboard.
- The 7-day free trial of the Standard plan is no-commitment.
- No prorated refunds for the current month.
6. Limitation of liability
SOSAppointment acts as a technology intermediary. We are not liable for:
- The quality of care provided by partner clinics.
- Cancellations, delays, or schedule changes by clinics.
- Direct or indirect damages related to use of the service.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to SOSAppointment over the last 12 months.
7. User obligations
- No fake or abusive bookings.
- Respect clinic policies.
- No illegal use of the platform.
- No attempt to bypass our security systems.
8. Intellectual property
The SOSAppointment name, logo, source code, and all content are protected. Reproduction without written authorization is prohibited.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account for violations of these terms, after reasonable notice when possible.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute shall be brought before the courts of the district of Montreal.
